A Little Good News

We got my husband’s Sperm Analysis back yesterday and we couldn’t be more relieved!  We didn’t get a full report yet but the urologist said that everything was normal.  His numbers were 4.1 ml and 869.2 million.  So that’s one less thing to worry about.

I got back last night from my sister’s bridal shower/bachelorette party weekend and I am still exhausted!  I had fun but I’m definitely glad that weekend is behind me.  I had a lot of anxiety and stress surrounding it.  Mainly because of trying to plan it with being out of town and going out/spending the night in a small hotel room with a bunch of girls I didn’t know.  Next up will be the wedding weekend the second week of September.  I’m looking forward to the wedding and especially having my husband be able to go home with me for once!

In other news, I’m on cycle day #51 and my third day of taking Provera.  I’ve been taking it at night just to hopefully avoid any unwanted side effects.  No signs of an upcoming period yet.  Can anyone tell me how long it took for them to get theirs?  The pharmacist seemed to think that it could start at any time after I took the first pill.  Really looking forward to getting a move on on this next cycle.  Feeling hopeful that it could be the ONE!

  1. I have used Provera frequently. For me, I would take all 10 days and then begin bleeding within 3 days, usually by day 2. It’s not the Provera that will trigger a flow but the withdrawal of the Provera. So I don’t think people usually start while still taking it. My doctor always reminds me it can take up to 10 days after I take my last dose to begin a period.
